According to Chinese-language National Business Daily, Chinese telecom and network equipment supplier ZTE signed on September 16 a second-phase contract with Ethiopian Telecommunications to deliver GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) equipment and related engineering services worth US$478 million. According to the terms of the contract, ZTE's Ethiopian project is scheduled to be completed in two years.
